When you enable DHCP relay and point to a valid DHCP server, all DHCP requests are forwarded to that server. Local DHCP and DHCP Relay are mutually exclusive; turning on DHCP Relay automatically turns off local DHCP, and turning on DHCP automatically turns off DHCP Relay.

Choose Network > DHCP Relay.
Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide. When you have finished configuring settings, click Submit to make your changes take effect.
DHCP Relay IPv4 Parameters

Enable DHCP Relay | Select the checkbox to enable DHCP Relay. |
DHCP Relay IP Address | Enter the DHCP server IPv4 address where the system forwards traffic. |
DHCP Relay for VLAN ID | If VLAN support is enabled, choose the configured VLAN number from the DHCP Relay for VLAN ID drop-down list. To enable VLAN support, choose Network > VLAN and refer to Configuring VLAN Settings. DHCP Relay only supports one VLAN. Note: If you delete a VLAN, the DHCP Server must be re-enabled for the remaining VLANs. |
- Choose Network > DHCP Relay.
Choose DHCP Relay > V6.
