Log Profiles provide an easy way to quickly add Subsystem logging configuration. There are two types of log profiles: User defined (user configurable Log Profile) and System defined (pre-defined Log Profile). Each Log Profile contains a set of related sub-systems along with the associated log level which are then mapped into Subystem logging (see Managing Subsystems Logging and Log Profiles).
The Log Profiles table displays all the existing log profiles via Logging Configuration > Log Profiles.
Creating Log Profiles
User Defined Log Profile
A user defined Log Profile is created without using a predefined set of subsystems; you select the subsystem and log level to associate with the Log Profile.
To create a Log Profile, see Creating New Log Profile.
Log Profiles Table - User Defined
System Defined Log Profile
Each system defined Log Profile contains a predefined set of subsystems, which are not configurable. The following table lists the system defined Log Profiles available, and the associated subsystems.
For details, see Managing Subsystems Logging and Log Profiles.
You cannot delete or modify the predefined log profiles.
