This section describes the changes made in the EMA GUI from the UI/UX perspective. In addition to those enhancements, some new functionalities of the EMA are also highlighted here, as the UI enhancements and the functionalities complement each other.
By default after logging in, the EMA home page opens showing the EMA Dashboard. The Dashboard provides system status information and links to helpful configuration tools and online help information. The content and appearance of the EMA Dashboard can be customized by each individual user and customizations persist from session to session. Refer to Home - Dashboard.
The Live Monitor can be opened directly from the default home page from a Live Monitor link. Live Monitor is a highly configurable tool that creates a range of graphs from SBC data for both real-time monitoring and historical performance monitoring. Live Monitor also remains accessible through the path: Monitoring > Dashboard > Live Monitor. Refer to Home - Live Monitor.
If you are an SBC administrative user, you have access to the Custom Workspaces window where you can create customized EMA workspaces for other users. This tool is useful in defining the scope of EMA usage for non-administrative users by restricting them to certain EMA features, screens, and tools. Refer to Users and Application Management - Custom Workspaces.
