View and Edit Signaling

To view and edit Signaling:

  1. Log on to the EMA as a "Calea" user. For more information, refer to Users and Application Management - User and Session Management.
  2. Click Expand All.
  3. Navigate to Intercept → Call Data Channel → Mediation Server → Signaling.
  4. Use the drop-down box to select the default Address Context, Call Data Channel, and Mediation Server.

Signaling is supported only for IMS LI configurations. Refer Intercept Flavors and Configuration Details for configuration details.

Signaling Parameters

Parameter

Description

dfGroupNameThe name of the DF Group configured against the Intercept Targets for which this Mediation server is to be used for interception.
Dscp ValueSpecifies the DSCP value for intercepted media packets sent on this port. Default value is 16 and range is 0 - 63.
IP Address V4 or V6 

IPV4/IPV6 address of the mediation server for signaling interception.

Mode

Specifies the mode of the signaling connection towards the mediation server. Options are:

  • In Service
  • out of service (default)
Port Number
Specifies the port number of the mediation server for signaling interception. Range is 0 - 65535.

Protocol Type

Specifies the protocol used by the mediation server for signaling interception. Options are:

  • TCP (default) 
  • UDP

UDP is not supported in SBC Release V05.01.00R000.

State

Specifies the state of the signaling connection towards the mediation server. Options are:

  • Disabled (default) 
  • Enabled

Click Save to save the configuration.
