Use this object to define Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) parameters.
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Trunk Group > Sip Trunk Group > Sip Trunk Advanced > SIP Trunk - Media - Advanced > Pcrf. The Pcrf window is displayed.
The Pcrf can be checked for each Address Context, for each Zone, for each Sip Trunk Group created or for all the Address Contexts, Zones and Sip Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone and Sip Trunk Group.
The Edit Pcrf window is displayed.

Pcrf Realm
| Specifies The DIAMETER domain of a Policy and Charging Rule Function. The value ranges up to 128 characters. |
Pcrf Commitment
| The degree of commitment expected from the PCRF during call setup or call update.
None (default) – Do not send AAR. Required – Send AAR; proceed only if it succeeds. Supported – Send AAR; proceed even if it fails.

Cushion Packet Size
| Enable flag to use the smallest packet size in an answer from the range supported for each codec for bandwidth estimate.Disable flag to use packet size in offer. Disabled (default) Enabled

Cushion Null Sdp
| Enable flag to allow AAR when initial call setup is an INVITE which lacks SDP (estimate G.711 10 msec as a worst case). Disable flag to wait for reverse offer. Disabled (default)Enabled

Signalling Path | Enable flag to subscribe for the Signaling Bearer Events. Disabled (default)Enabled

Fetch Location Info | The following options are available:
None (default)- PCSCF does not request for Location informationRetrieve In Offer - PCSCF request for Location information in the Initial AARRetrieve In Answer - PCSCF request for Location information in the Final AAR.

Prov Signaling Flow | Enable flag to send P-Access-Network-Info header. Disabled (default)Enabled

Terminate On Nw Failure | Enable flag to terminate call on receiving TEMPRARY_NETWORK_FAILURE in AAA. Disabled (default)Enabled

Pcrf Interaction Mode | Controls whether interaction with PCRF is synchronous or asynchronous. Synchronous - SBC sends INVITE message to egress once it receives the response for the AAR, which is sent towards PCRF.
ASynchronous -- SBC sends INVITE message to egress after sending an AAR request. SBC continues with call processing without waiting for any response from the PCRF or time-out of the transaction.
- The final AAR is sent after receiving the session answer even though the answer or time-out for the preliminary AAR is not received.

Pcrf Send Aar Only For Session Answer | This parameter specifies how AAR messages are sent after receiving the session answer.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
