1. Choose VoIP > SIP.
  2. Scroll to SDP Modifications.

  3. Choose a type of operation to be performed on codec payloads in the SDP from the SDP Codec Operation drop-down list:

    • Delete given codecs—The list of codecs in the codecs list will be deleted from the SDP.

    • Only Allow given codecs—If the SDP has any codecs not listed in the list of codecs they will be removed from the SDP.

    • Change Codec Order—If the codecs given in the codecs list occur in the SDP, the system automatically orders the list.

  4. Choose the media type to be searched in the SDP Section that will be modified drop-down list:

    • Audio—Search for audio codecs.

    • Video—Search for video codecs.

  5. In the Codecs field, enter the list of codecs to search for separated by commas. Use names such as PCMU, PCMA, G723, G729, H261, and so on. Refer to Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP) Parameters at the following link for standardized codec names: https://www.iana.org/assignments/rtp-parameters/rtp-parameters.xml.

  6. Click Submit to save all settings on the page. For more information on submitting your configuration changes, refer to Submit Configuration Changes
