Use the CFT window to configure the ingress confirmation tone for a Signaling Profile.

To View and Edit CFT

On the SBC main screen, use one of the following paths:

  • Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > Signaling Profile > Ingress > CFT 
  • All > Profiles > Signaling > Signaling Profile > Ingress > CFT

Select a Signaling Profile from the drop-down list. The CFT window is displayed.

Send CFT Information

When this check box is selected for SIP calls, the egress SBC sends confirmation tone (CFT) information (whether the call is considered On-Net or Off-Net) to the SIP server. 

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Cft Info For Early Backward Message

Specifies the default value for the confirmation tone information when routes are absent from the policy response for SIP calls.

  • Offnet
  • Onnet
  • Unknown (default)

Note: This option appears when you enable Send CFT Information.
