If the SBC is going to retrieve subscriber data from an Active Directory (AD) server, use the Domain Controller window to specify attributes for accessing a remote AD Domain Controller server.

To View Domain Controllers

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > Domain Controller

The Domain Controller window opens listing and domain controllers that are already configured.

To Create a Domain Controller

To create a new Domain Controller:

  1. Click New Domain ControllerThe Create New Domain Controller window opens.

  2. Use the following table to configure the Domain Controller and then click Save.

    Use TLS

    If enabled, the SBC uses TLS to communicate with the AD Domain Controller. Options are:

    • Disable (default)
    • Enable
    Remote PortPort on the remote AD Domain Controller server (optional).



 To Edit a Domain Controller

To edit a Domain Controller configuration:

  1. Click the radio button next to the specific Domain Controller name. The Edit Selected Domain Controller window opens.
  2. Make the required changes and click Save.

To Copy a Domain Controller

To copy a Domain Controller configuration: 

  1. Click the radio button next to the Domain Controller you want to copy.
  2. Click Copy Domain ControllerThe Copy Selected Domain Controller window opens.
  3. Make any required changes and click Save.

To Delete a Domain Controller

To delete a Domain Controller configuration: 

  1. Click the radio button next to the Domain Controller you want to delete.
  2. Click the delete icon (X) at the end of the row. 
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
