This section describes the parameters associated with the Port Monitor Status object.

On the SBC main screen, go to All > System > Ethernet Port > Port Monitor Status. The Port Monitor Status window is displayed.

System - Port Monitor Status

By default only 10 entries are displayed in a view. You can choose the number of entries to be displayed under the Show entries drop down box. Click  to expand the window to display more fields.

The following fields are displayed:

CE NameThe server name.
Prg NameThe name of the port redundancy group.
Pm NameThe name of this port Monitor.
Port NameThe name of physical port.
Mac AddressThe MAC address associated with the physical port.
Role

The role of the physical port.

State

The state of the physical port.

  • Down
  • Unknown
  • up
Fault State

The fault state of the physical port.

  • Failed
  • Restored
  • Unknown
Link State

The state of the link monitor configured on this port in the link detection group. The Link State is set to “Unknown” if link monitors are not configured.
