Use this window to define the prescribed behavior associated with various 3GPP P-Headers.

To View and Edit P-Header Extensions

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: SIP Carrier Peering > Signaling > P-Header Extensions. The P-Header Extensions window is displayed.

 Use the drop-down boxes to select the desired Address Context, Zone and SIP Trunk Group. The Edit P-Header Extensions window is displayed.

The following parameters can be configured:

Use Ingress Orig Ca

Enable to honor P-Orig-CA header received on the ingress side.

  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled

Add Egress Orig Ca

Enable to send P-Orig-CA header on the egress side.

  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled

Insertp Visited Network ID

When the SBC is acting as a P-CSCF, use this parameter to specify the P-Visited-Network-ID header value (for example, visitedNetwork or “\”Visited Network\””) for the SBC to insert in a REGISTER request it receives from a UE before that request is forwarded towards the IMS core network. The value can be up to 255 characters.

Make the required changes and click Save.
