This is an LA release that will only be provided to a select number of PLM-sanctioned customers (PDFs only). Contact PLM for details.
When it receives a REGISTER request from a UE, the SBC acting as a P-CSCF can be configured to insert a P-Visited-Network-ID header field with a provisioned string before it forwards the REGISTER request towards the IMS core network. The P-Visited-Network-ID header is inserted only for REGISTER requests and is not inserted for other requests.
However when the SBC is acting as an IBCF, the SBC either transparently passes or deletes the P-Visited-Network-ID header from the ingress call-leg to the egress call-leg in REGISTER, INVITE, or out-of-dialog non-INVITE messages, as configured.
The CLI syntax to provision the P-Visited-Network-ID string is shown below:
% set addressContext default zone <ZONE_NAME> sipTrunkGroup <TG_NAME> signaling P-HeaderExtensions insertpVisitedNetworkID <character-string>
Refer to SIP Trunk Group - Signaling - CLI for details.
