This object creates and configures a global SIP DNS parameters. These apply to all DNS servers used for NAPTR, SRV, and Arecord queries.
To View and Edit Global
On SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > Dns > Global. The Global window is displayed.
The following fields are displayed:

Iteration
Count
| The global Iteration count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. |
Retransmission
Count
| The global retransmission count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. |
Retransmission
Timer
| The global retransmission timer value (in milliseconds) for DNS iterations of server requests. |
Monitoring
Interval
| The global monitoring interval (in secs) for DNS Servers. |
Timeouts
| The global number of timeouts for blacklisting a DNS Server. |
Probe Interval
| The global probe interval (in seconds) for blacklisted DNS Servers. |
Edns Payload Size
| The global eDNS payload size for DNS Servers. Default value = 1280 |
Edns Retry After
| The global eDNS retry after for DNS Servers. Default value = 180 |
Edns Failure Count
| The global eDNS maximum failure count for DNS Servers. Default value = 3 |
Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
