In this section:

The SBC 1000/2000 supports multiple certificates to migrate from one enterprise to another. The SBC 1000/2000 transport TLS library manages the SBC Edge certificates and keys in the memory store database.

Note

The SBC 1000/2000 can use multiple certificates to support multiple enterprises that require the mutual authentication and verification of certificates to use the certificates with each enterprise.

Note

The SBC 1000/2000 support of multiple certificates does not impact the upgrade or downgrade of the SBC.

You may require a supplementary certificate (see the following figure) if

  • the on-premise Skype is configured for TLS, and
  • the Skype FQDN is different from the public FQDN for Teams, which makes the on-premise facing interface require a different certificate.
