By default, after having initialized the Ribbon SBC 1000/2000 system for the first time, or after a factory reset, the Ribbon SBC 1000/2000 system is pre-configured with a Self-signed Server Certificate.

Note

You can import self-signed certificates only in the SBC Primary Certificate screen.

The process of installing a new Signed Certificate on the Ribbon SBC 1000/2000 comprises three general steps which must be followed in this specific order:

  1. Generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)
  2. Obtain and Import a Trusted Root CA Certificate
  3. Obtain and Import the Signed Primary Certificate

Viewing the Installed Ribbon SBC 1000/2000 Primary Server Certificate

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > SBC Certificates > SBC Primary Certificate.
