Use the Realm Route window to define Diameter realm routes for the specified Diameter node.

To View Realm Routes

On the SBC main screen, navigate to All > Address Context > Diam Node > Realm Route. The Realm Route window opens.

Use the drop-down boxes to select the Address Context and Diam Node.

To Create a Realm Route

To create a new realm route: 

  1. Click New Realm Route. The Create New Realm Route window opens.

  2. Use the following table to configure the options for the realm route and then click Save.

    Parameter


    Description

    Name

    Specifies the name of the realm route. The value ranges up to 23 characters.

    Peer

    Specifies the name of the peer for this realm route.

    Priority

    Specifies the priority of this realm route. The value ranges from 0 to 100, and the default value is 0.

    Realm

    Specifies that the local identity will be presented in fully qualified domain name (FQDN) format. Range: up to 128 characters.

    App ID

    Application ID (Diameter interface type) for this route.

    State

    Specifies the administration state of this Realm. 

    • Disabled (default)
    • Enabled

To Edit a Realm Route

To edit a realm route:

  1. Click the radio button next to the realm route  you want to edit. The Edit Selected Realm Route window opens.
  2. Make the required changes and click Save.

To Copy a Realm Route

To copy a realm route: 

  1. Click the radio button next to the realm route you want to copy.
  2. Click Copy Realm Route. The Copy Selected Realm Route window opens.
  3. Make any required changes and click Save.

To Delete a Realm Route

To delete a realm route:

  1. Click the radio button next to the realm route you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete icon (X) at the end of the row.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
