The Path Check profile specifies the conditions that constitute a connectivity failure, and in the event of such a failure, the conditions that constitute a connectivity recovery. See Path Check Support using SIP OPTIONS Ping for details.
After updating a Path Check Profile, you must disable and re-enable the profile for the change to take effect.
To View Path Check Profile
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Service Profiles > Path Check Profile.
The Path Check Profile window is displayed.

To Edit Path Check Profile
To edit any of the Path Check Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Path Check Profile name.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
To Create Path Check Profile
To create a new Path Check Profile, click New Path Check Profile tab on the Path Check Profile List panel.

Path Check Profile Parameters
Parameter | Description |

| Specifies the name of the Path Check Profile. This is a mandatory field. |
Failure Response Codes | Use this parameter to define one or more response codes to treat as failure responses. The options include one or more of the following values, separating each entry with a space:
When you use more than one value, enclose the values in square brackets [ ], separating each value with a space. Entering a value without using brackets appends the value to the existing configurations. The In EMA, the Failure Response Codes are configured as comma separated values. In CLI, the values of the Failure Response Code are separated by space. |
| Specifies the ping protocol type used. sipOptions is the only option available. |
| Specifies the interval in which the PING request will be sent out to the endpoints duration (in seconds). Enter value in range of 1-600 seconds. The default value is 60 seconds. |
| Specifies the number of consecutive error responses that should occur before adding the endpoints to the Blacklist. Enter value in range of 1-10. The default value is 6. |
| Specifies the number of consecutive success responses to be received during recovery. Enter value in range of 1-10. The default value is 6. |
To Copy Path Check Profile
To copy any of the created Path Check Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Path Check Profile to highlight the row.

Click Copy Path Check Profile tab on the Path Check Profile List panel.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Path Check Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original Path Check Profile in the Path Check Profile List panel.
To Delete Path Check Profile
To delete any of the created Path Check Profile, click the radio button next to the specific Path Check Profile which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific Path Check Profile from the list.
