on KVM
The VM instance must be powered down before updating memory and vCPU.
- Login into a terminal access software (such as Putty), and log into the KVM Hypervisor.
- Start the Virtual Machine Manager.
- From the list, click on the applicable VM instance.
- Power down the VM.
- Select Edit > Virtual Machine Details
- Select View > Details or click the icon
From the menu, click CPUs.The
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
supports 1, 2, or 4 vCPUs.
- Click Apply.
From the menu, click Memory. Each
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
instance with 1 vCPU requires 1 GiB (1024 MiB) RAM; this amount is increased according to the number of vCPUs. Refer to SBC SWe Lite Hardware and Software Requirements.- Click Apply.
- Start the VM instance. The
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
is configured with the updated values.

on Microsoft Hyper-V
The VM instance must be powered down before updating memory and vCPU.
- Launch Hyper-V Manager from the Windows Start menu.
- Power down the VM in which you will be adding vCPUs and RAM.
- Right-click on the desired VM instance and select Settings.
Click on Memory. Each

- Click on the applicable VM instance
- Power down the VM.
- From the Getting Started tab, click Edit virtual machine settings.
From the Hardware tab, click Memory.
- Update the desired memory size. Each

Increasing VM size for SWe Lite (Azure)
- Connect to the Azure portal. Refer to portal.azure.com.
- From irtual Machines.
- From the list, click the checkbox next to the desired VM.
- From the menu, click Stop. This shuts the VM down.
- Click on the desired VM.
From the menu, click Size.
Click on one of the sizes presented.
At the bottom of the page, click Resize.
Increase VM Size via Azure PowerShell
Perform these steps via PowerShell:
- Access PowerShell. Refer to PowerShell documentation.
Run the following commands (per Azure RM PowerShell module):

- Connect to the applicable SWe.
- In the WebUI, access System > Overview.
- Verify the number of Virtual CPUs and Total System Memory.
