In this section:

 

Use this object to view detailed information about legacy licenses and the license bundles installed on the SBC.

On the SBC main screen, navigate to Administration > System Administration > License Management > Legacy License Settings. The Legacy License Settings window is displayed.

The parameters are described below:

Legacy License Settings - Field Descriptions

ParametersDescription
Bundle Name

The name of the license bundle.

NOTE: This parameter is displayed in the Bundle Details table. To view the bundle details for an installed license bundle, click the radio button corresponding to the bundle name in the Installed License Bundles table.

Feature NameThe name of the feature with which a given license is associated.
License IDA unique numerical identifier for the license.
Expiration DateThe expiry date of the installed license. The format for displaying date is YYYY-MM-DD, followed by hour and minute.
Usage LimitThe usage limit associated with a feature in the license.
 

To Install a New License Bundle

To install a new license bundle, click New License Bundle in the Installed License Bundles table.  The Install New License Bundle window is displayed.

When the field Install License Bundle By is set to "Pasting the license bundle string", the appearance of the window is changed as below:

The fields displayed in the Install New License Bundle window are described below:

ParametersDescription
Name

The name of the license bundle.

Install License Bundle By

The methods available for installing a license file on the SBC.

  • Uploading a license file (default)
  • Pasting the license bundle string
Select License File

The methods available for selecting a license file to be associated with the bundle.

  • Select an existing license file
  • Upload a new license file (default)

NOTE: This field is displayed if the field Install License Bundle By is set to "Uploading a license file" (default).

License Bundle String

A string that denotes the name of the license bundle.

NOTE: This field is displayed if the field Install License Bundle By is set to "Pasting the license bundle string".

Make necessary changes and click Save to save the changes. Click Undo Edits to cancel all changes.

To Delete a License Bundle

Note:

You must have administrator privileges to delete a license bundle from the SBC.

  1. To delete a license bundle, click the radio button adjacent to the bundle name in the Installed License Bundles list.
  2. Click the red X control to the right of the bundle entry to delete the license bundle.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
