In this section:
To request the
Open www.ribboncommunications.com.
Click SERVICES > CUSTOMER SUPPORT LOGIN.
Enter your Ribbon-provided credentials to log on to the portal.
Click DOWNLOADS in the Ribbon Support Portal.
Click Sonus > Select Software and then:
Select SBC 5XX0 or 7XX0 from the Product drop-down list.
Select Linux From the Operating System drop-down list.
The Select Software screen appears. To determine the latest Software Bundle and the respective files, refer to Production Releases.
Perform the following:
Select SBC 5XX0 or 7XX0 from the Product drop-down list.
Select Linux From the Operating System drop-down list. The list of Software Bundles that are matching the Product and the Operating System appears below.
Click Request Download on the SBC5x7x_5.x software bundle.
The Software Download Form page is displayed.
Enter the address details and accept the End-User License Agreement.
Click Submit. The Software Request Detail window opens. You will be notified by email when your bundle is ready to be downloaded.
Customer Support will email you when the bundle is ready to be downloaded. Click on the link in the email and then follow these steps:
Click SERVICES > CUSTOMER SUPPORT LOGIN.
Enter your Ribbon-provided credentials to log on to the portal.
Click DOWNLOADS in the Ribbon Support Portal.
Click Downloads > Sonus > Download Requests.
Click the appropriate Software Request ID to open the Software Request Detail window. The window shows the bundle name and, in the panel below, the components of the bundle. Click on the URL hypertext to download the software.
The browser redirects you to the following page and a pop-up window appears to save your file. If the pop-up window fails to appear, return to the Software Request Detail window, re-select the software and when the About Download Manager window opens, click the click here link to save your file.
Save the software to your local PC or server.
