The SBC SWe Cloud supports configuring Load Balancing Service (LBS) to distribute cluster information between D-SBC instances.
To configure an LBS on a PKT port (any IP Interface other than MGMT), set "clusterAdmin clusterComm type ip" before the LBS configuration on M-SBC. Refer to Intra-Cluster VNFC Communication Through Packet Ports.
Configuring Load Balance Service
- Log on to the EMA Configurator as admin.
- Click All tab.
- On the navigation pane, click System > Load Balancing Service.
You can modify the Group Name
and Private IP Interface Group Name
. Click Save.

Parameter | Description |

Group Name | <name> – Domain name of the load balancing group. |
Invite Retarget Mode | Specifies the load balancing service mode for INVITEs. Enables load balancing for initial INVITE requests. If set to redirect, calls may get retargeted using SIP 302 to balance the load. - Disabled (default)

Private IP Interface Group Name | <name> – The name of the Private IP Interface Group used by M-SBC/T-SBC to communicate with MRF. |
Register Retarget Mode | Specifies the load balancing service mode for REGISTERs. Enables load balancing for REGISTER requests. If set to redirect, new registrations may get retargeted using SIP 302 to balance the load. - Disabled (default)
