The table below describes the fields available in a trigger request:

Trigger Request Field Descriptions

Field

Description

Present

If checked, this trigger request will be sent to the SBC.

If the trigger response is successful the next trigger request is processed (if it's Present check box is selected). If the Present check box is not checked, subsequent trigger requests will not be sent to the SBC.

Routes Required

If checked, specifies that routes are required for this trigger request.

Notification

If checked, EDP notification operation will be performed, otherwise the EDP request operation will be performed.

Mid Call Trigger

If checked, specifies that this is a mid call trigger request.

Operation

Operation Type of the operation requested.

Authcode Group

The Authcode Group ID.

Variables

Identifies the variables and their type to be used in this trigger request.

Result

Expected result of the trigger request.

Gateway Profile

Identifies the name, family, port number, and IP address of the gateway associated with the simulated call's policy request.

Triggering Number

Specifies the triggering number and related attributes.

Called Directory Number

Specifies the called directory number.

Call Information Report

Specifies the call information report.

Carrier Code

Specifies the carrier code.

CorrelationId

Specifies the correlation ID.

Scp Carrier Code

Specifies the SCP carrier code; this is the same as the basic carrier code.

Chosen Carrier Info

Specifies the chosen carrier information.

HLC

Specifies the Higher Layer Compatibility parameter value received in signaling for ISDN/ISUP interworking.

Jurisdiction Information

Specifies the jurisdiction information parameter. Stores the NPA/NXX assigned to the trunk or extracted from the calling party number.

LLC

Specifies the Lower Layer Compatibility parameter value received in signaling for ISDN/ISUP interworking.

Nature of Connection

This is used to specify the following information for the call:

  • Continuity Check Indicator
  • Echo Control Device Indicator
  • Satellite Indicator

Originating Carrier
Information

This is a Japan-specific ISUP parameter. It includes the originating carrier code of the incoming call.

NFCI

This parameter, National Forward Call Indicator, contains zoning indicator, charge indicator, and IN call indicator fields.

Originating Carrier
Information

Specifies the originating carrier of the call.

Portability Info

Specifies whether or not number portability information is included in the request (NP Status), and whether the Query on Release (QoR) is in the ingress message or the local exchange must perform the lookup (NPI Flags). This is for INAP use only.

Presentation Number

Specifies the presentation number.

Called IN Number

Specifies the called IN number.

Dialed Number

Specifies the original dialed number.

Redirect Forward
Information

Specifies the redirect forward information.

Redirection Capability

Specifies the redirection capability.

Scf ID

Specifies the SCF (Service Control Function) identifier.

P-Charging Vector

Specifies the P-Charging-Vector.

Source Trunkgroup

Specifies the source trunk group for the call.

Transit Carrier Info

Specifies the transit carrier information for the call.

Trunkgroup Attributes

Specifies the trunk group attributes.

UniversalCallData

Contains a universally unique call identifier (ID) comprised of the node ID (a number identifying the switch), a boot count (the number of reboots on the switch), and a Call ID. This parameter is encoded as a string containing a hexadecimal representation of the data.
