This option determines whether or not the ISDN S/T interface is terminated on this port.

The BRI physical interface comprises two parts:

  • in-house cabling (S/T bus) from the ISDN terminal to the Network Termination (NT).
  • transmission from the NT to the Central Office (U-reference point).

An S/T bus must be terminated at both ends. One end of which is the Network Termination device and the other end is the Terminal Equipment (TE) end.
