1. Log on to the SBC BMC GUI. The BMC main screen appears.

2. Navigate to Configuration > Network. The Network Settings screen is displayed.

3. Select Enable JViewer and click Save.

   
   

4. A success message appears on the screen. Click OK to continue.

   
   

5. Navigate to Dashboard tab and click Launch.

   A security warning screen appears.

6. Accept the risk and click Run to launch the remote console (JViewer).

   To enhance SBC Platform security, log on to JViewer Console using the 'linuxadmin' credentials. The direct 'root' access is no longer supported.

7. The JViewer screen appears. Enter the following credentials:
   Username: linuxadmin
   Password: <password>
   
   

8. At the prompt, switch user to 'root' using the following command:

   Enter the 'root' user login credentials.
