 supports playing MOH from Microsoft Teams during call hold scenarios.

Microsoft Teams uses different call flows for MOH :

  1. SIP REFER based MOH (MOHv1)
  2. SIP RE-INVITE based MOH (MOHv2)

Providing the Audio Source

To upload a music (sound) file:

Upload the file using the Uploading the Uploading a Sound File procedure File procedure in Uploading Music on Hold Files - SBC Edge.

To connect a live audio source through an FXS port:

Specify the live audio source using the Specifying the Specifying a Live Audio Source procedure Source procedure in Configuring the Media System.

 Enable Music on Hold as follows:

  1. From the Music the Music on Hold drop Hold drop down list (via applicable SIP applicable SIP Signaling group) select  select Enabled for SDP Inactive or Always or Always Enabled.
  2. Click ApplyClick Apply.

Verifying Music Upload Status and FXS Music On Hold source.

To verify that the file has been successfully uploaded:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tabthe Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to System to System > DSPs.

The Music on Hold File Status will show as Loaded if as Loaded if the file was successfully uploaded.

If your system does not have transcoding licenses, be sure your MOH file is encoded in the same Law as your calls use. For instance, if you're using A-Law for your calls, be sure to use an A-law encoded MOH file.

If your system has transcoding licenses, then the system will automatically transcode between different types of codec compressions.
