The Initial Setup process sets the basic configuration for the SBC system and is only required the first time you setup the system. After completing this process, you can start using and configuring the system remotely using a web browser.

The Initial Setup screen will present different information depending whether or not your SBC is equipped with an Application Solution Module. The screen below is shown for an SBC with an installed ASM. If the SBC you are setting up does not have an ASM, certain fields are unavailable. These are noted below.

Items such as endpoint (define user and provider), routing (routing configuration applied to scenario), and country (tone table parameters and emergency numbers for a particular country) are configured. If you choose not to deploy the Wizard at initial setup, it is available through the Tasks tab for later configuration.

The Additional Static IP Route configuration enables you to create static routes/gateways for the additional Ethernet interface, if required. To create a static route, click the ( Image RemovedImage Added) icon in the Additional Static IP Routes section. Enter the fields with the definitions below and click OK. For detailed information about adding Static routes, see Creating Entries in a Static IP Route Table.

Once you have clicked OK, you may connect the SBC 2000 to your network using Ethernet Port 1. The SBC will now be reachable on its new IP address - you may browse to it now.
