Adjust the resource by executing the following steps:
Click your VM name. Click Resource Allocation tab. Click Edit in the CPU box.

Reserve CPU speed. For requirements details, see For VMware.
Select Resources tab and select CPU as shown.
From Resource Allocation section, set Reservation value by clicking up/down arrows or dragging the Reservation bar.

Set CPU reservation to equal physical processor CPU speed multiplied by a value calculated by multiplying: (half of the number of vCPUs assigned to the VM) x (the physical CPU processor speed). For example, For the for a 4 CPUs configuration with a processor of 2.99 GHz CPU frequency, it reserves reserve "2992 * 4 2 = 11968 5984 MHz". |
Select Unlimited check box
is checked.for optimal performance.
