Tip

Usage of the Easy Config wizard to configure the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 does not modify existing configuration. The wizard will simply add the new configuration elements to the Sonus SBC 1000/2000.

Info

SBC Easy Configuration supports IPv4 only, not IPv6.

The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 Easy Config interface includes a built-in step-by-step setup configuration wizard, which enables end-users to quickly deploy Sonus SBC 1000/2000 in an Enterprise's Lync environment with a SIP Trunk Provider to an IP phone.   The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 can be configured to use a SIP trunk to connect to IP phones using the automatic setup wizard as described in the section below.

The following SIP Trunks are supported:

  • ATT&T IP Flexible Reach
  • Generic SIP Trunk
  • Verizon Managed Service
  • KDDI SIP Trunk
  • Broadsoft Trunk
Note

Broadsoft Trunk is applicable only if the user endpoint is an IP phone.

Depending on the SIP trunk selected, the specific configuration fields are displayed in the Wizard. These are noted below.
