The EMS uses the the EMS CALEA user user role for all LI configuration operations from and to the SBC Configurator, and the admin user role configuration operations and the admin user for communicating over netconf to the SBC. The EMS creates the SBC CALEA user credentials automatically when a SBC (including the SBC Configurator) an SBC registers to itthe EMS. Cloud Distributed SBC instances are registered dynamically in the EMS.

A single Call Data Channel (CDC) configuration is supported per cluster. |
To configure configure the CDC for cloud an M-SBC instance:
To create basic configuration for M-SBC:

user. Under Network Mgmnt, click Cluster / VNF Management. The Cluster/VNF Management window is displayed.
Create M-SBC cluster. For more information, refer to Creating an SBC SWe Cluster.
Click Configurations tab.
Click New Configuration. The New Configuration pane is displayed.

Select the version of the configuration from the Version drop-down.
Select an SBC Configurator instance from the Master Configurator drop-down.
This node is used to create the configuration. The SBC Configurator nodes are displayed based on the version selected. Only unlocked SBC Configurator nodes are listed.
Enter a name for the configuration in the Configuration Name field. The SBC configuration name can contain only letters, numbers, dashes (-), apostrophes ('), underscores (_), colons (:) and spaces.

The cluster ID is set as the default name for the first configuration. You can modify the name. The name must be unique. The subsequent configurations are named with a combination of cluster name and some unique identifying information. The default name varies based on how the configuration is created. |
Click Create. A circular progress bar is displayed against the Master Configurator node. It takes around six minutes to load master configuration.

For LI, the CDC configuration is performed using the CDC Configuration Manager through the EMS. You You can Create create CDC information only as EMS calea
when logged in as the EMS CALEA user from the EMS CDC configuration window.

Procedure
To configure a cluster CDC for M-SBC nodes:
Click Network > Cluster Management. The Cluster Management / Manage VNFs window opens listing the SBC clusters created on the EMS

The SBC SWe provides the ability to configure the IP address, TCP port, and other parameters used for communication towards the mediation server.
To create a new Call Data Channelcall data channel:

Activate the CDC configuration (Proceed to Activating CDC Configuration for M-SBC).
Return to theEMS session containing the SBC Configuration Manager for the OAM node and then click Apply Saved Changes and Close.
When prompted, confirm that you want to save and activate your configuration changes.
To activate a cluster configuration for SBC SWe:
