must be running version 2.1 or later.Spacevars 0 product - Music files must be one of the following formats:
- WAV
- PCMA
- PCMU
- PCM

Providing the Audio Source
To upload a music (sound) file:
Upload the file using the Uploading a Sound File procedure in Uploading Music on Hold Files - SBC Edge.
To connect a live audio source through an FXS port:
Specify the live audio source using the Specifying a Live Audio Source procedure in Configuring the Media System.

- From the Music on Hold drop down list (via applicable SIP Signaling group) select Enables for 2-Way Hold only select Enabled for SDP Inactive only or Always Enabled.
- Click Apply.

If your system does not have transcoding licenses, be sure your MOH file is encoded in the same Law as your calls use. For instance, if you're using A-Law for your calls, be sure to use an A-law encoded MOH file. If your system has transcoding licenses, then the system will automatically transcode between different types of codec compressions. |
