ASM package updates can be installed by Sonus

• Updating the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 Communication Service on the ASM
• Installing Lync Cumulative Update (CU) patches on the ASM
• Installing other Roll-up packs such as windows update authorization lists
• Installing approved Third party software (i.e, SDN Listener or Lync debug tools)
• Installing a new BIOS package on the ASM

This operation can be accessed either via the Tasks tab or the Settings tab:

1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks or Settings tab.

2. In the left navigation pane, under the Application Solution Module, click Install ASM Update.

3. Browse to the desired .pkg file.

4. Select the ASM package file you wish to install

5. Click OK

6. You will be presented with the following popup to confirm the action:

   Confirm

   Select Package

   Image Removed

   Image Added

7. Click

   OK

   Ok to install the package

8. Throughout the installation process, the User interface will dispatch a series of status messages:

9. . The installation progresses. The sequence of installation steps are shown below.

   When the installation succeeds, the following status message is dispatched:

   In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module >

   Updates Installed

   Image Removed

   Note
   Should the update be a windows update .pkg pack, refer to the operation status page to initiate windows update install If the installation failed a detailed status message indicating the reason for the failure will be displayed

10. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
