The string * indicates that all Groups apply to the entry.

Create new Rule-list

To create a new Rule-list, click the button New Rule-list in the frame Rule-list.

Give an appropriate Name to the new Rule-list. The field Group blank can be left blank; it will default to the group that corresponds to the level of access to the SBC in the ongoing session.

After making modifications, click the button Save to save the changes made. Click Undo Edits to cancel all changes made since the last save configuration.

After saving the changes successfully, the Success message will appear. Click Ok on the Success message pop-up.

Edit a Rule-list

 

To edit a Rule-list, select it from the table Rule-list.

Reorder a Rule-list

The dropdown drop-down menu indicates the desired destination of the selected Rule-list presents four possible options:

  • after
  • before
  • to the first position
  • to the last position

 

If after or before is chosen by the user, the appearance of the frame Reorder Rule-list changes. It asks the user to provide the choice of Rule-list, after or before which the SBC places the selected Rule-list.

Delete a Rule-list

 

To delete a Rule-List, select the Rule-list from the table.

Note

The SBC does not allow deleting Rule-list that belongs to any one of the following Groups:

  • Administrator
  • Operator
  • FieldService
  • Guest
  • Calea
  • SecurityAuditor

An attempt to delete a Rule-list belonging to any one of those Groups results in the following error message:

 The user can delete a Rule-list only if it belongs to a Group other than the ones displayed in the error message.
