Create a Local Record

To edit any of the Dns Group - Local Record in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Local Record name.

Local DNS records must be associated with a specific address context and DNS group. To create a new local record entry:

  1. Select the Address Context and DNS Group with which you want to associate the local record. The New Local Record option becomes available.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Local Record

To create a new Dns Group - Local Record, click New Local Record tab on the Local Record List panel.

To Edit a Local Record

To edit a local DNS record object:

  1. Click the radio button next to the local record you want to edit. The Edit Selected Local Record window opens.
  2. Modify the options as needed and click Save.

To Delete a Local Record

To delete a local DNS record object:

  1. Click the radio button next to the local DNS record object that you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete (X) icon at the end of the row. 
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Enter all the required fields. You can click Show only required fields at the left hand bottom of the panel to view and enter only the required fields to create a Local Record.

To Delete Local Record

To delete any of the created Local Records, click the radio button next to the specific Local Record which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.
