The re-installation of ISO is required for those customers who try to upgrade the older ISO SWe release to new release in production environment.
Follow the below steps to re-install the ISO:
Right-click the VM instance name and click Edit Settings.

Click Options tab.

Click Boot Options.
Check the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

Click Browse... Select the ISO image software file. For example, the ISO file name is sbc-V05.01.00A503-connexip-os_03.01.00-amd64.iso. Click OK to close the Browse Datastores window.
Check the Connect at power on option and click OK.

Right-click the VM instance name and click Power>Power On. BIOS setup window appears.
Click Boot tab and select "CD-ROM Drive" option.

Click "+" or "-" to change the boot order for "CD-ROM Drive" option.

Press F10 to Save and Exit. A setup confirmation appears.

The Connex IP OS Window appears. Select Install option and Press Enter.

Click Hardware tab.

Click CD/DVD drive 1.
Uncheck the Connect at power on option and click OK.

Click Options tab.

Click Boot Options.
Check the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

Click "+" or "-" to change the boot order for "CD-ROM Drive" option back to its original.
Press F10 to Save and exit and to power back your VM.
