deployments.

Use the Cluster - Type window to configure cluster profiles that define how the distributed signaling SBC (S-SBC) should contact its peer clusters in the D-SBC deployment. These cluster profile represents the policer (M-SBC) and dsp (T-SBC) cluster with its point of contact (FQDN). You can also configure a cluster to invoke an MRF as a transcoder for the D-SBC deployment. Refer to Invoke MRF as a Transcoder for D-SBC for more information on this type of deployment.

Creating MRF Cluster Type

To establish connection between S-SBC Cluster and M-SBC Cluster, create an MRF Cluster Type.

  • Log on to the EMA Configurator as admin.
  • Click All tab.
  • On the navigation pane, click System > DSBC > Cluster > Type.

On the SBC main screen go to All > System > DSBC > Cluster > Type. The Type window opens.
