The Network Tools screen allows you to perform a ping or traceroute trace-route of an IP address on a specific interface on SBC. This screen also provides the status of the SBC interfaces.

The Network Tools screen consists of the following GUI elements:

| Ping/Trace-route | This pane allows you to perform a ping or |

| IP Address (IPv4 or IPv6) | Specifies the IPv4 or IPv6 address information. |
| Platform Interface | Specifies the platform interface to perform the trace-route or ping action. |
| Results | Specifies the results of the trace-route/ping for the entered IPv4 or IPv6 for the specific platform interface. |
| Platform Interface | This pane displays the status of a specific SBC platform interface. |
| Interface | Lists the various SBC platform interfaces. |
Using Ping/Trace-route Tool

- Enter the IPv4 or IPv6 Address in the IPv4 or IPv6 Address field.
- Select the Platform Interface from the drop-down list.
Click Start Trace-route.

Viewing Platform Interface Status

In the Platform Interface Status pane, select the interface whose status you want to view. The status is displayed in the right side of the Interface list.
