Use this object to configure ENUM service.

Use the ENUM Service window to create an ENUM Service object for the SBC and set its initial parameters. After you create the object you can configure additional options for the ENUM Service object using the ENUM Service - CriteriaENUM Service - ENUM Definitions, and ENUM Service - Flags windows.

Specifies whether to enable enumeration or not. The options are:

  • disable (default)

Enable this flag to analyze the calling number using prefix profile.

When this flag is disabled, the calling number is not analyzed and hence if it has +CC, the same is sent as-is to SBC in the calling number field in policy response. The options are:

  • enable
  • disable (default)
  1. name of the ENUM Service you want to copy.
  2. Click Copy ENUM Service. The Copy Selected ENUM Service window opens.
  3. Edit the values in the copy as needed and then click Save.

To Edit an ENUM Service

To edit an ENUM Service object:

  1. Click the radio button next to the name of the ENUM Service you want to edit. The Edit Selected ENUM Service window opens.
  2. Edit the values as needed and click Save.

To Delete an ENUM Service

To delete an ENUM Service object:

  1. Click the radio button next to the specific ENUM Service which you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete (X) icon at the end of the row.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

When this flag is enabled for ENUM AoR service, and ENUM AoR response contains "newani=<some_number>" parameter in NAPTR record, the ERE overwrites the existing calling number of the call with the newANI number.

When this flag is disabled, any newANIparameters received in NAPTR response are ignored in PES. The options are:

  • enable
  • disable (default)

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Enum Service is displayed at the bottom of the original Enum Service in the Enum Service List panel.

To Delete Enum Service

To delete any of the created Enum Service, click the radio button next to the specific Enum Service which you want to delete.
