This procedure explains how to configure the DNS Server for use with the Sonus SBC 1000/2000-SBA

- Connect to the DNS machine using a Remote Desktop Application.
- Log into the DNS machine using administrator credentials.
Launch the DNS snap-in.

- Expand the tree until you reach the computer name of the DNS server.
Verify that there is one entry for each network in the domain in the Reverse Lookup Zones directory.

Auto Login
- Connect to the DNS machine using a Remote Desktop Application.
- Log into the DNS machine using administrator credentials.
Launch the DNS snap-in.

- Expand the tree until you reach the computer name of the DNS server.
- Right click the _TCP folder.
- Select Other New Records....
- Select Service Location (SRV).
- click "Create Record".
- In the Service Location (SRV tab*, make the following selections:
- Enter _sipinternaltls in the Service text box.
- Enter_TCP in the Protocol: text box.
- Enter the cspool FQDN in the Host offering this servide: text box.
- Click OK.

- Expand the tree until you reach the computer name of the DNS server.
- Right click the appropriate domain.
- Select New Host (A or AAAA)....
- Enter the command name of the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 in

in the IP address: text box.Spacevars 0 product2 - Select Create associated pointer (PTR) record.
- Click OK.
