 administrator to customize the tones a user hears when placing a call. You can modify the tone to match your local PSTN or PBX. The default tone table is configured for the values used in the United States for the following categories: Ringback, Dial, Busy, Congestion, Call Waiting, Disconnect, and Confirmation.

Do not configure a ringback or congestion tone with frequencies greater than 1KHz when also setting for "continuous" (as opposed to Cadence). 


To create or modify an Entry to a Tone Table:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Tone Tables > Default Tone Table.

This only applies to POTS fixed phones, where the high voltage ring signal is switched on and off to create the ringing pattern. In North America, the standard ring cadence is "2-4", or 2000 ms followed by 4000 ms of silence (default Sonus
