This section specifies the parameters for reserving a portion of the resources for specific call direction or type for this H.323 trunk group.

To View and Edit Call Reservation

On the

Spacevars

 main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Trunk Group > H323Trunk Group > H323 Trunk Advanced > Call Reservation. The Call Reservation window is displayed.

The Call Reservation can be checked for each Address Context, for each Zone, for each H.323 Trunk Group created or for all the Address Contexts, Zones and H.323 Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone and H.323 Trunk Group.

The Edit Call Reservation window is displayed.

Parameter

Description

InboundPercentage of call Limit reserved for handling inbound calls. This is the percentage of channels reserved for handling inbound calls. Default is 0%. Percentage selection allowed in 5% increments. Enter value in 5% increments in range of (0-100) percent.
State

Administrative state of the call reservation.

  • enabled
  • disabled (default)
Priority Call MediumThe number of priority call allowed when reservations are enabled for this trunk group. Enter value in range of 0-100. Default is 1.
Incoming Call MediumThe number of incoming call allowed when reservations are enabled for this trunk group. Enter value in range of 0-128. Default is 1.
Outgoing Call MinimumThe percent of outgoing call allowed when reservations are enabled for this trunk group. Enter value in range of 0-100. Default is 10.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
