This license is used to differentiate the CNF deployments from the other deployments handled by the same RAMP. Without this license, totals calls up to 47 concurrent calls are supported on a CNe deployment. The maximum active SC pods can be 47, one call per SC pod is supported. The OAM is the only pod which will connect to the license manager. In case of completion of 90 days grace period, OAM communicates the information to SC pod to stop processing the calls.

SBC-SIP-I-D
SRTP-D
SBC-VIDEO-D
SBC-MRF-RTU-D |
This license is required to enable transcoding using an external Media Resource Function (MRF) device. The SBC-MRF-RTU-D license is not a substitute for the SBC-RTU-D session license. Both |
licenses are required to allow a session towards the MRF. The SBC-MRF-RTU-D license is only applicable to the S-SBC when deploying the distributed-SBC architecture. | Count |

POL-E911-D |
RTU license |
for E911 service. | On/Off | |
SBC-POL-ENUM-D | SBC ERE support for accessing ENUM databases. | On/Off |
SBC- |
POL-RTU-D |
SBC 5400 RTU license to enable all four media ports. each operating at 1 Gbps.
Note: If the SBC 5400 is configured for two 1 Gbps media ports (default configuration), no license is required).
Enables on-board Advanced ERE (Embedded Routing Engine) services query support for a given SIP session (The latter is activated with the SBC-RTU-D license). Notes:
| Count | |
SBC-PSX-RTU-D | Enables off-board PSX policy and routing services query support for a given SIP session (latter activated with the SBC-RTU-D). Notes:
| Count |
SBC-RCS-D | Enables OOD (Out of Dialog) SIP session-related RCS (Rich Communications Services) support. Notes:

. | On/Off | |
SBC-SIPREC-D | SIPREC session recording support. | Count |
SWE-INSTANCE-D
VDSP-RTU-D
Enables transcoding feature in SBC SWe. If value is non-zero, it allows specified number of transcoded calls on the system. If zero, no transcoded calls are allowed.
VDSP-RTU-D count should be always less than or equal to SBC-RTU-D count. If not, no transcoded calls are allowed.

SIP-REG-D | DL Feature license for SIP Registrar functionality (Domain E-LIC FOR SIP-REG ON SBC Core). For DL licenses, the maximum license count is equal to the maximum registrations supported by the SBC. The Interval statistics logic reports the peak stable registrations during an interval and stores it in the pms file. The SBC uses this logic for DL License calculations, as described below.
| Count |
SRTP-D | Encryption function for media using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP). | Count |
SWE-INSTANCE-D | Activates an SBC SWe instance within the domain for operation. | On/Off |
VDSP-RTU-D | Enables RTP media processing services in the SBC Core software based products (SBC SWe, SBC CNe). The SBC delivers RTP media processing services through the application of the Virtual DSP (Digital Signal Processing) feature to a media session. Examples of such services include (partial list): Transcoding
Transrating Transrating includes call legs that carry a different time sample size of media, where the SBC performs the translation. Transrating is used often when enterprises or the service provider is looking to save bandwidth by reducing packet count at the expense of voice quality (should a packet be dropped). Silence Suppression The SBC removes RTP packets carrying no meaningful media to save packet traffic. Fax Call Support
In-band ↔ Out-of-band Interworking Required for the following:
Media That Originates From the SBC in Support of Call Developments For example:
Jitter Compensation Used to maximize user experience with voice quality. Notes:
