ImpactNone | No calls are admitted to the system or the affected server card while call admission is suspended. When a valid NTP source is not available following system initialization, call admission is suspended until a valid NTP time reference is obtained. This action ensures that accounting records are generated with the correct time of day. For other scenarios, call admission is suspended for a short time and the condition does not require any operator action. For example, during card failover processing, call admission is suspended briefly as the standby card transitions to the active state. Call admission is resumed as soon as the card completes the transition and is ready to accept new call arrivals. | ||||
