 This object specifies the parameters required to configure the Radius Server Use the Radius Server window to configure parameters for RADIUS servers to which you want to send call-accounting records derived from CDR data.

To View

RADIUS Servers

On the SBC main screen, go to All > OAM > Accounting >  Radius > Radius Server.

The Radius Server window is displayed.

To Edit Radius Server

To edit any of the Radius Server in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Radius Server name.

Description

Server Name

Name of for the radius serverRADIUS server.

Priority

The priority for this server. The range allowed is 1 to 8 with the lowest number having the highest priority.

State

The administrative state of the radius serverRADIUS server configuration.

  • enabledEnabled
  • disabled Disabled (default)

Server Address

Specifies the IPv4 or IPv6 IP address of the server as either a host name or hostname, an IPv4 address in the following notation.

  • IPv4—This is V4 IP address in dotted decimal form (for example 128.127.50.224).
  • IPv6—This is V6 IP address in hexadecimal/colon form (for example, 1280:1276:3350:2224:2222:3333:8888:1245 or fd00:21:445:128::7880)

    dot notation, or an IPv6 address in hex-colon notation.

    Server Port

    IP port used to send requests to the radius serverRADIUS server.

    Shared Secret

    Specifies the shared secret key between the RADIUS server and the SBC. This should be configured same as the key configured in the RADIUS server. The value ranges from 8 - 128 characters and the default value is 123456789abcdef0.

    The time for which the radius server RADIUS server maintains the received requests after they are acknowledged, so that retries set sent to the server can be detected.

    To copy any of the created Radius Server and to make any minor changes, click the a RADIUS server configuration:

    1. Click the radio button next to the

    2. Click Copy Radius Server. The Copy Selected RADIUS Server window opens.
    3. Make any needed changes and click Save.

    The Copy Selected Radius Server window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

    Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Radius Server is displayed at the bottom of the original Radius Server in the Radius Server List panel.
