Choose Traffic Shaper > Advanced.
Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide. When you have finished configuring settings, click Add to make your changes take effect.

Manages the classes of service list.
Create a New Class
Assigns priorities and guarantees bandwidth for different types of traffic. Refer to Create a new Class of Service.
Action Select the action to be performed. The actions that can be performed are:
• Add new Rule
• Edit “priority”
• Edit “best_effort”
Name Enter the name of the class of service and its associated priority queue. Priority Class
Choose a class of service from the drop-down list:
• Best Effort —Default. All unmarked traffic is assigned to this class. This traffic is also the first to be dropped during times of congestion. Examples of best effort traffic include web, email, SNMP, and so on.
• Assured Forwarding / IP Precedence (1 to 4)— For applications that require better reliability than the best-effort service. There are four Assured Forwarding classes of service:
• AF1x/IP1
• AF2x/IP2
• AF3x/IP3
• AF4x/IP14
• Expedited Forwarding / IP Precedence 5— Provides low-loss, low-latency, low-jitter, and guaranteed bandwidth. For real-time voice traffic:
• IP Precedence 6 and 7:
• IP6
• IP7
LLQ Designates traffic as LLQ. LLQ traffic is strictly prioritized and all LLQ traffic is transmitted before any GRED traffic is sent. Refer to Set GRED/LLQ Configuration Rules.
Bandwidth Percentage
Specifies the guaranteed percentage of bandwidth for the associated class during times of congestion.
Note: The sum of bandwidth percentages for all configured classes cannot exceed 100 percent.
