This page allows you to map Q.850 (ISDN) Cause Code to SIP Response and vice versa.

ISDN-SIP

This page allows you to set an SIP Error Response value for each Q.850 Cause Code received.

The Q.850/ISDN Cause to SIP Response Mapping page can be modified without causing any service disruption. When modified, the saved changes will take effect on the next SIP -> ISDN call that receives a disconnect before completing the call. You cannot make any changes when pending configuration changes are present.

When performing an edit, you can modify any number of values during a single edit operation.

The page is configured to be a table with 3 columns:

  • Q.850 Cause Code - This column is a list of each defined Q.850 cause code.
  • Default SIP Response Code - This column lists the default SIP Error Response sent for each Q.850 cause code received.
  • SIP Response - This is a list of all possible SIP Error Response codes supported. The field is usually disabled and can only be changed when performing an edit for the page.

Q.850/ISDN Cause to SIP Response Mapping

To edit the Q.850/ISDN Cause to SIP Response Mapping:

  1. Choose Network > ISDN > Cause Mapping > ISDN-SIP.



  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Edit.
    All the fields under SIP Response now become active.
  3. Configure the SIP Response values as required.
  4. Click Submit to save your changes.

This page allows you to set a Q.850 Cause Code value for each SIP Error Response Code received.

The SIP Response to Q.850/ISDN Cause Mapping page can be modified without causing any service disruption.
