 allows you to replace legacy devices with newer hardware platforms.  This section describes how to replace legacy devices with newer devices.

  1. Make sure to specify the device-specific parameters unique to your legacy device in the Device Specific Settings. Refer to Setting Device Specific Parameters to set device-specific parameters.
  2. Once you've specified the parameters unique to your legacy device, go to Devices > List  List and choose the legacy device to replace. 
  3. On the device overview page, go to Actions > Replace Device.

    In the Replace Device dialog box, enter the MAC address of the new replacement device and click REPLACE.

    It may take up to ten minutes to complete this process. Once this process completes, a policy is generated automatically to provision the replacement device. 

  5. Complete the legacy device replacement by provisioning the replacement
