Global Loss Ratio

The SLB provides an option to set the Global Loss ratio threshold on the SLB and generates a trap when the Global Loss ratio exceeds the configured threshold. During overload conditions, a loss ratio is calculated by the SBCs and communicated to the SLB. The SLB uses this loss ratio to compute the weight to be fed into the Load Balancer and in-turn decreases the load on the SBC reporting a loss ratio.

On the SBC main screen go to All System > SLB. The SLB configuration screen displays.

The range is 1-100. The value is set to 100 by default.
