For SBC SWe systems, use the Swe Config Profile Selection window to select the configuration profile you want to use to specify provisioning limits for the system. The Small or Large profile should be selected based on the available RAM capacity for the system. Refer to SBC Provisioning Limits for more information.

On the SBC main screen, go to All > SystemSwe Config Profile Selection. The Swe Config Profile Selection window opens.

Click on the profile you want to activate and then click Save.
  • Small (default) is applicable when the VM RAM is greater than or equal to 10 GiB.
  • Large is applicable when the VM RAM is greater than or equal to 18 GiB.
  • Extrasmall is applicable when the VM RAM is between 6 and 10 GiB.

Both the small and large profile Both Small and Large profiles are applicable when the VM RAM is greater than or equal to 18 GiB. However, only the Small profile is applicable when the VM RAM  is less than 18 GiB.

For a profile change to take effect, both nodes in the system must be rebooted and all active calls are lost. The system prompts you to confirm that it will reboot before activating the profile change.

NoteWhen an instance comes up in an environment which has between 6 and 10 GiB of memory, the value for Swe Config Profile Selection is automatically set to extrasmall. It is not valid to reconfigure a deployment from one of the larger sizes (small or large) to the extrasmall size.

For definitions of large and small provisioning limits, refer to SBC Provisioning Limits
For definitions of extrasmall provisioning limits, refer to Small SBC SWe Deployment Characteristics.
