Specifies the list of Call Transfer Flags for both H323 and SIP Trunk Groups

To View and Edit Call Transfer Flag

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Ip IP Signaling Profile > Common Ip IP Attributes > Call Transfer Flag. The Call Transfer Flags window is displayed.

H323 Call Transfer Flags

On the Call Transfer Flags window, choose the Ip Signaling Profile as DEFAULT_H323 to view the flags for H323 Trunk Group.

The Call Transfer Flags window opens. Select the IP Signaling Profile whose configuration you want to view or edit in the IP Signaling Profile list. The Edit Call Transfer Flags window opens showing the current configuration for the selected profileThe Edit Call Transfer Flag window is displayed.

Description

Handle Ip IP Addresses Not Present In Network Selector Table Nst

Use this parameter to define how to handle a transferred call when the SBC does not perform a PSX query for new routes and the IP address from in the Refer-To header is not present in the Network Selector table. Options The options are:

  • rejectCall Reject Call – The SBC always rejects the call transfer.
  • routeViaDefaultZoneIptg Route Via Default Zone Iptg – The SBC sends out the call transfer INVITE out from the Default Zonedefault zone's IPTG.
  • routeViaDefaultiptg Route Via Defaultiptg – This option is not applicable at this time.
  • routeViaTransferringIptg Route Via Transferring Iptg – (default) The SBC sends out the call transfer INVITE back out from the transferring IPTG (i.e. the IPTG on which the REFER request arrived).

 Force Re Route Via Psx Query

Enable this flag to allow the SBC to perform a PSX query for new routes instead of using the IP address received in the Refer-To header.

  • disabled Disable – (default) When this flag is disabled, the SBC does one of following:

    • If the IP address in the Refer-To header is zero or matches the SBC signaling IP address, the SBC performs a PSX query for new routes.
    • If the IP address in the Refer-To header does not match SBC match the SBC signaling IP address and it but is present in SBC in the SBC Network Selector table, the SBC sends an INVITE message to the IPTG selected from the Network Selector table.
    • If the IP address in the Refer-To header does not match SBC match the SBC signaling IP address and is not present in the SBC Network Selector table, SBC  the SBC handles the transfer via according to the configuration of the Handle IP Addresses Not Present In Network Selector Table NST field flag.
  • enabled EnableEnable flag to cause SBC Enabling this flag causes the  SBC to always perform a PSX query for new routes, regardless of the IP address received in the Refer-To header.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

Skip Re Route Via PSX Query

Use this parameter to specify whether the SBC queries the PSX for routes when the REFER trunk group is different than the original egress trunk group.

  • Disable – (default) When this flag is disabled the SBC queries the PSX for routes if the REFER trunk group is different than the original egress trunk group.

  • Enable - When this flag is enabled the SBC does not query the PSX for routes when the REFER trunk group is different than the original egress trunk group.
