Use this object to specify the Use the Packet Outage window to set packet outage detection parameters for this a specified SIP trunk group.
To View and Edit Packet Outage Parameters
On SBC main the
main screen, go to

Packet Outage. The Packet Outage window is displayed. orAll > Address Context > Zone > SIP Trunk Group > Packet OutageThe Packet Outage can be checked for each Address Context, for each Zone, for each Sip Trunk Group created or for all the Address Contexts, Zones and Sip Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box boxes to select the desired specific Address Context, Zone and Sip SIP Trunk Group you want to configure.
The Edit Packet Outage window is displayed.

Minimum Duration | Specifies Specify the minimum period of outage for a call, in milliseconds, for that call to be counted as part of by the packet outage detection algorithm. Must be in the range 0-65535, default is 6000 (milliseconds). | Minimum Calls | Specifies, for the current interval, the Specify the minimum number of calls with outages that are required in an interval to declare a packet outage event. Must be in the range 0-65535, default is 1000 (calls). | Bandwidth Limit Reduction | Specifies Specify the amount to reduce the bandwidth limit (as a percentage of the configured limit) when a packet outage is detected. Must be in the range 0-100, default is 50 (percent). | Detection State | Specifies the administrative state of packet outage detection: enabled —automatic bandwidth reduction will occur Specify whether to enable automatic bandwidth reduction when a packet outage event is detected .: disabled Disabled (default) —packet – packet outages are not detected and the maximum bandwidth limit is restoredis not adjusted.- Enabled – automatic bandwidth reduction occurs when a packet outage is detected.

Packet Outage Commands
To clear all the Trunk Group Packet detection, choose packet outage detection state for a trunk group, select Clear in the Commands drop- down box list and click Select.
