An ISO re-installation is required under the following circumstances:

• The management IP address is incorrect
• A customer who evaluated a special or engineering release wishes to upgrade

The re-installation of ISO is required:

• When incorrect management IP address is configured
• Customers who already evaluated the special or Engineering release and want to update to a new GA release

To re-install reinstall the SWe ISO:

1. Right-click the VM instance name and click Edit Settings.

2. Click Options tab.

   1. Click Boot Options.

   2. Check Choose the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

3. Click Hardware tab.
   
   1. Click CD/DVD drive 1. 

   2. Click Browse... Select the ISO image software file. For example, the ISO file name is sbc-V05.01.00A503-connexip-os_03.01.00-amd64.iso. Click OK to close the Browse Datastores window.

   3. Check Choose the Connect at power on option and click OK.

4. Right-click the VM instance and click Power > Power On. The BIOS setup window appears.

5. Use right-arrow key to navigate to the Boot tab.

6. Use down-arrow key to select CD-ROM Drive option.

7. Press + or -  key to bring the CD-ROM Drive option to the top of the boot order.

8. Press F10 to Save and Exit. A setup confirmation appears.

9. Click Yes to save and exit.

10. The Connex IP OS Window appears. Select Install and press Enter.

11. After the setup is run successfully, right-click the VM instance name and click Edit Settings.

12. Click Hardware tab.

    1. Click CD/DVD drive 1.

    2. Uncheck Deselect the Connect at power on option and click OK.

13. Click Options tab.

    1. Click Boot Options.

    2. Check Choose the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

14. Right-click the VM instance name and click Power > Power On to display the BIOS setup window.
    
    1. Use the right-arrow key to navigate to Boot tab
    2. Use down-arrow key to select CD-ROM Drive option.

    3. Press + or - key to change the boot order for CD-ROM Drive back to its original.

    4. Press F10 to Save and exit and to power back your VM.
